Google chief executive Eric Schmidt said tonight in a blog post that Google’s first-ever Super Bowl commercial was an accident of sorts. The ad dubbed “Parisian Love” has been up on Y0uTube for three months already. The idea wasn’t to create a big splashy ad.
Rather, Schmidt wrote, “Our goal was simply to create a series of short online videos about our products and our users, and how they interact. But we liked this video so much, and it’s had such a positive reaction on YouTube, that we decided to share it with a wider audience.”
Here’s a link to the other Search Stories ads that are up on YouTube.
